'Whereas many skills books focus on grammatical items as the building blocks of composition, Grellet has a more holistic focus on the characteristics of the style itself, which is a refreshing change … This makes Writing for Advanced Learners a compendium of ideas – precisely what a sourcebook should be.' EL Gazette, 1996

Using an inspiring collection of authentic sources to stimulate written work, this text develops students' free written expression through a series of graded steps.
