Originally published in 1907, as part of the Cambridge English Classics series, this volume of Prior's works contains the Dialogues of the Dead, together with other compositions in prose and verse. At the time of publication much of this material was previously unknown, having been discovered through extensive research into Prior's papers at Longleat. The text forms the companion volume to Poems on Several Occasions, which was published as part of the same series in 1905. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in the works of Prior and their contribution to the development of English literature.
