It condenses high yield information into manageable lessons for the busy anesthesiologist and the 'Knock-out Treatment Plan' sections take complex information and titrate it down to approachable, easy to remember points. In her second edition of this book, Dr. Lovich-Sapola has updated the impressive list of oral board topics. There are also twelve new chapters to reflect changes in the exam since the last edition of which the chapters on point of care ultrasound (POCUS) and intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) will be particularly useful. This edition also includes information regarding the most recent American Board of Anesthesiology exam structure including the Objective Structured Clinical Exam (OSCE) which will be welcome to examinees.
