No it doesn't, not if we can take on board how this logic is the very site at which Lacan's comments converge, which is what I have sought to indicate by entitling the final chapter 'The axiom of the fantasy'.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eIt begins with him audaciously blending the mathematical Klein group and the Cartesian cogito, modified in such a way as to offer up the alternative, 'Either I am not, or I am not thinking'.
